Last night, September 23, was a wonderful evening of culture, connection, and creativity.
We had 8 families join us for our Cultural Family Night, where families ate dinner and worked together to sew wing dresses and ribbon shirts in preparation for upcoming cultural events.

nk you to our elder seamstresses, Jennie Honanie and Janice Sam, for sharing their knowledge, skills, and encouragement with everyone. They did an amazing job helping families throughout the evening! We are so grateful for the time spent together and look forward to our next family night.

What you need to know: Family Sewing Night will be held once a month• 6:00–8:00 PM in White Swan• Families/Households will be provided with fabric for ONE project (wing dress or ribbon shirt). • You do not need to have sewing experience to participate • We will work together throughout the year to learn, sew, and create.
