4. Student Engagement and Classroom Culture

PURPOSE: Student engagement is the key to successful teaching and classroom culture.  Getting to know your students and building relationships helps with the planning of your lessons and assists you in gauging whether or not students will work bell to bell or participate in the content being taught.
