 Announces Selection of New Superintendent

The Mount Adams School District Board of Directors is pleased to announce that, after careful consideration and an extensive selection process, Dr. Ralph Watkins has been selected as the next Superintendent of Schools for the Mount Adams School District.

Dr. Watkins brings a strong commitment to Native culture, student achievement, educational leadership, and community engagement. His experience, vision, and dedication to public education will help guide the district forward and continue the important work of supporting students, staff, families, and our communities.

The Board of Directors appreciates the time, input, and participation of staff, students, families, and community members throughout the superintendent selection process. Their involvement played an important role in identifying the leadership qualities and priorities most important to the future of the district.

Dr. Watkins will transition in to the Superintendent position this summer, pending the finalization of his employment.
