We will have food samples, entertainment, student activities and parent informational tables. You won't want to miss this event.

Our JOM/IPEC meeting is rescheduled for today 4/30/25 in person only at the Harrah Elementary Library. Our meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Will your student be in 3rd, 4th or 5th grade next school year? We will be offering a summer school program June 23-July 3rd. If you are interested in having your student attend please contact our building office for an application.
We wanted to provide a quick update regarding student and family access to our new Student Management System, Qmlativ that is replacing Skyward.
While we had originally planned to open access on Monday, April 28, 2025, we have encountered a technical issue affecting grade reporting for a few high school classes.
To ensure that all information you see is accurate, we have decided to postpone access until these issues are fully resolved. Our team is working closely with the software provider to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, if you would like an update on your student’s grades, please contact your child's school office.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will notify you as soon as access becomes available.

MASD Families we have some exciting news! We are upgrading our student software system, Skyward. The new system, Qmlativ will be implemented early April. We have been working very hard on this project and are very excited to roll this out. We do need to let you know that while we transition you will not have Skyward Family Access. It is going to take a little bit of time for us to ensure our system is ready to go before we ask you to download the app. Thank you to all who have been working so, so hard on this project!/ Familias de MASD tenemos unas noticias emocionantes por venir! At the Harrah Schools, we greatly value the safety and security of the students and staff in our care. We also recognize you as valuable partners in that process. The more you know about our safety plans, the better we can protect our kids.
Today at the Harrah Schools, we conducted the following drill:
Orange Vest Lockdown
Reason for Practicing: Prepare for Definite Threat of Harm
Example: Active violent assailant
What We Practiced: All interior and exterior doors were locked, students accounted for with attendance protocols, and staff initiated written emergency procedures.
What You Can Do Today:
• Ask your child about the drill to check for understanding
• Talk them through any questions or concerns they may have
• Share any questions and/or concerns or clarifications with your school’s Safety Leads Cesar Hernandez or Michelle Navarro.
What You Can Do When it’s not a Drill:
• Check the school Website, MASD app, or Parent Square for updates.
• Do not approach the school or attempt to retrieve your child until instructed to do so via MASD Notification Systems. Your presence may interfere with emergency responders and endanger lives.
• Do not attempt to communicate with the school as it might interrupt emergency communications.
• In extreme cases, students may be evacuated to a reunification site, where parents/guardians may retrieve them. To provide for the continuing safety of the students, this process will take some time and your patience is appreciated. You will be contacted as soon as it is safe.
