First Title VI Indian Parent Committee Meeting

August 19 was MASD's first Title VI Indian Parent Committee meeting in White Swan in the Community Coalition room.  The district presented information about the Title VI Indian Education grant including the objectives and amounts for each objective for the 2026-2027 school year.  Also shared, was information about our monthly Native American Cultural Family Engagement events and participants provided input in planning our November Native American Heritage Month activities and speakers.  See 8/19/26 Presentation to review the information presented. Sample bylaws, a requirement of this committee, were also reviewed.  Here are the notes from the meeting.
