Friday Update

Mt. Adams School District is pleased to re-introduce Hazel Health, a free telehealth resource now available to all of our families! By giving your consent, Hazel Health is able to connect your child to one of their medical professionals, securely and conveniently. Hazel can help with stomach aches, headaches, sprained ankles, asthma concerns, pink eye, and everything in between! This service is available to students from their school clinic or from their home. Hazel is available at school, during regular school hours. When your child is in school and needs health services, the clinic staff uses an iPad to help connect your child directly with a Hazel doctor over live video. Hazel at Home services are available Mon-Fri 7AM-5PM. When your child needs health services from home, you can connect directly with a Hazel provider over live video from your free Hazel account. The best part is that there is never a cost to families! Having access to Hazel means that you are less likely to have to leave work to pick your child up from school. We will be sending home consents for families to consider this excellent service. I encourage each family to review and return the consent when you receive it. If you have questions about Hazel, please call (509) 390-2292. To complete your consent online, or for more information, please visit Hazel at https://my.hazel.co/masd209/info.

Football, Soccer, Volleyball are all in full swing in the Mt. Adams Schools. We have faced some stiff competition, but our students have the spirit of energy, grit, and success. The outcome is learning to endure and be the best you can be regardless of the circumstances. We are so proud of our Chargers and Cougars – Go Teams!

Student of the month assembly was held this week at Harrah. There are so many students excelling that it was hard for teachers to pick from these motivated and high achieving students. Congratulations to the students of the month throughout the District!

Homecoming with all of the fanfare will take place tonight at the White Swan High School Football game. I hope you are able to attend and see our students shine. Floats, the Band, our Cheer Team, and our might Cougar Football team will be presented to our community. Go Cougars!
