Dear Families:
In order to help serve our students and make sure our curriculum is up-to-date
the district has an adoption cycle for each subject every seven years. This year
we are examining our math curriculum. Our math teachers, Ms. Marisa Owen
and Mr. David Olden, are working with a math coach from the ESD to select the
curriculum that we will be going forward with.
Currently we are using the Agile Mind curriculum and the team is comparing that
to other curriculum to see what best meets the needs of our students. The team
will be using a process provided by the state to evaluate several math programs,
including Agile Mind. The committee will meet on the following dates and times:

We would like to invite parents or community members who would be willing to
help us make this important decision to attend the committee meetings and give
feedback about the math curriculum that is being examined. Please call Mrs.
Reed to let us know if you would be willing to serve our students by being part of
the math committee.
