This year we are going to hold spring registration. We will be sending out a post card as well as putting out fliers in the community.
• Spring registration is from April 25th- May 27th
• Parents or Guardians will be able to register online through skyward access
• Charger and Cougar Connection teachers will explain the process to students so they are able to help their family to register.
• When 100% of a Charger or Cougar connection class has registered, the class will have a pizza party!
• After early registration, High School students will be able to sign up for their elective classes. These classes fill up fast so this will be important.
The Mt. Adams Public School Employees Association was recognized at the March Board meeting. Our Board members invited PSE staff of the District to the Board meeting to thank them for the service and dedication to our students. Ms. Norma Velazquez was recognized as the Classified Employee of the Year and received a plaque and her name on the perpetual Employee of the Year plaque in the District Office.
Greenhouse at White Swan High School: Dr. Van Doren has worked hard and applied his dedication and expertise to update our greenhouse. He has led the horticulture students as they have cleaned out the greenhouse and prepared it for planting this spring. The students planted seeds and are now starting to see the results of their hard work as the plants sprouted and are growing daily. We HOPE to have a spring plant sale. Our students and community have missed this yearly tradition and our goal is to have a plant sale even if it is smaller than usual.
