As we begin our 21-22 school year, we would like to introduce you to our new Panther staff. Watch for short intros over the next few days:
Welcome Cindy Feriante - 4-6 Resource Room Teacher
Hometown- Spokane, WA but in Yakima the last 22 years.
I attended WGU online to get my Elementary Ed K-8 while working as an ELL Para for 3 years in Selah.
Then I attended WGU online again to get my Masters of Special Education while working as a long term substitute in Kinder, 2nd and 3rd at Adams Elementary in Yakima.
I love hiking in the mountains, being outdoors and looking at the sky, growing flowers, especially sunflowers, and spending time with my family cooking, chilling and attending the sports events of my 7th, 9th and 11th grade kids. Also Saturday morning golfing with my husband. My newest hobby is enjoying my 2-year-old granddaughter and soon her sister who is due in December.
I am excited to be at Harrah this year to work with the dedicated teachers and staff I have met. I am looking forward to learning from all of them about this community and how to effectively teach and serve our families. It is awesome to see the passion the teachers and staff have for building relationships and supporting students and families. I’m so thankful to be part of this team.
