Friday Web News

Classified Professional’s Week - Mt. Adams School District has some amazing Classified Employees!  This month we celebrated our Classified Professional staff with a breakfast and other events to say thank you for a job well done!  There was another breakfast for staff sponsored by our PSE employees celebrating their work in the District.  At the top of the list of employees this year is Mrs. Suzie Espindola who was selected and recognized as our MASD Classified employee of the year.  Congratulations Mrs. Espindola and thank you for all you do for our students and staff at the Harrah Campus!

GRANT AWARD NOTIFICATION – Great news!  We have been approved by OSPI to begin our work on the ball fields at the Harrah Campus.  The plan is to build a Middle School Baseball Field and a Middle School Softball field as well as bathrooms and a concession stand.  We hope to begin very soon and have the fields completed by Spring 2024.

District News Letter?  You may  have noticed that the district does not provide a paper or mailed newsletter.  The Friday Web News is intended to replace the mailed newsletters of old, with current and pressing information for parents and families of students. Since it is electronic, it is always current and up to date!   Please remind your friends and neighbors to sign in to the MASD App or the MASD website every Friday afternoon to learn about the latest news in the District.

The Harrah Playground Is Back On Track!  The Playground contractor confirmed that they will be back on site beginning Monday 3/20 to complete the project.  Poles will be reinstalled first, followed by compaction.  Once the weather warms enough, the poor-in-place will be installed and set for curing.  Finally, the remainder of the play equipment will be completed and students will have full access to their new playground!  Thank you Mr. Crawford, Mr. Garza, and the Mt. Adams Team who have made this happen for our students.
