Assessment

The Mt. Adams School District strives to develop valid, reliable assessments to measure student learning.

Administration and teacher leaders meet quarterly to review student achievement data and reassess teaching and learning looking at successes, challenges and determining next steps needed to increase student achievement.

Students take Washington State Assessments many times throughout their education.  To see the tests required at each grade level, visit the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction website at https://www.k12.wa.us/student-success/testing/state-testing-overview.

Students must pass a Washington State Assessment in reading, writing, math and science during their high school career to be eligible to receive a high school diploma.  For graduation requirements, go to http://www.k12.wa.us/GraduationRequirements/default.aspx.

To see the Mt. Adams School District students' progress on state assessments, go to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction Washington State Report Card site - https://washingtonstatereportcard.ospi.k12.wa.us/ReportCard/ViewSchoolOrDistrict/100155
